How exciting! There’s now a brand new section on the Marisota website called Marisota World.

On it you can find the latest style news, product reviews, style advice and more as well as information about me and the other Marisota girls.

Plus there’s a “Get the look” feature about the new film “Coco before Chanel”, I have to say I adore the boucle jacket.

Another great bit of Marisota World is the “as recommended by..” section. Good Housekeeping magazine recently did a feature on Marisota and I love that I can keep up with the “buzz” so to speak.

But my absolute favourite is Shop the TV ad.

I had so much fun filming the TV Ad and absolutely loved the outfits, it really rang true with my experience of Marisota, so me and the other girls have each given our “tuppence” worth and contributed to the page.

Obviously my favourite items were those I wore myself, I find it a real struggle to get skirts and trousers in my leg length so Marisota is a God send!

From the smart jeans with their lovely deep indigo colour, bootcut style and perfect leg length.

to the lovely outfit of red pleat neck jersey top, wide leg trousers and weave belt which were all exactly my style!

And finally my absolute favourite the Print Jersey Tie Front Dress, it’s perfect for a meal out, night out or even work with the right accessories.

I wasn’t so sure about ‘Western’ as a fashion trend when I first read about it - never been a big one for cowboy boots or cowboy hats! However if you start thinking pretty prairie-style prints teamed with tan coloured leather and durable denim jeans you’ve got a really wearable look. Well I don’t know about the January blues but right about now I’ve got the January blacks! I just read this really interesting feature on the history of gothic fashion and it’s taken me right back to youth. Yes, ok, I admit I went through a bit of a goth phase. After getting all nostalgic I felt like breaking out the black! According to the article it never goes out fashion anyway so I’m on to a winner.

You don’t go for the full-on Siouxie Sioux look to inject a bit of gothic glamour into your style. Take a look at some of these darkly glamorous outfit ideas… all available in a plus size range from Marisota.

I got a stressed out phone call from my sister last week. She works for a big bank in the city and they have made hundreds of people redundant, including her. I wanted to do something to cheer her up and it had to be shoes. She loves shoes! I got straight online and looked at the range of Marisota wide fitting shoes. She won’t mind me telling you that she has really wide feet, if her shoes don’t fit just right they really hurt her. I found just the pair of fashionable shoe boots and took them round to hers with a box of cookies for good measure. She loved them and it really cheered her up. She even registered for a Marisota catalogue herself, now she can buy her own shoes and wide fitting boots in the future.

This credit crunch, it’s affecting all of us. Thank goodness for good value and Marisota!

I love autumn… it means crisp, cold weather and the X Factor’s back on telly. Perfect. I love the weather because it gives me a chance to wear my wide fitting boots from the Marisota Legroom boots range. With my thick calves I need to find the right size or I can’t zip them up all the way, but Legroom boots are not only wide fitting in the foot but wide calf fitting too.

I love the X Factor because it’s just absolutely hilarious! The first round of auditions make me laugh out loud. I almost thought of going in for it myself, I can carry a tune but I just don’t have the courage. With my trendy new knee high boots maybe I should maybe have given it a shot. They make me feel taller and give me a more confident look, but my friends would never let me live it down no matter how gorgeous my knee boots are!

Oh well, I can dream… and I already shop like a pop star with Marisota. I know I can always find high leg boots that fit first time and I get them delivered to my door, so who needs a celebrity lifestyle, I’ve already got one!
