How exciting! There’s now a brand new section on the Marisota website called Marisota World.

On it you can find the latest style news, product reviews, style advice and more as well as information about me and the other Marisota girls.

Plus there’s a “Get the look” feature about the new film “Coco before Chanel”, I have to say I adore the boucle jacket.

Another great bit of Marisota World is the “as recommended by..” section. Good Housekeeping magazine recently did a feature on Marisota and I love that I can keep up with the “buzz” so to speak.

But my absolute favourite is Shop the TV ad.

I had so much fun filming the TV Ad and absolutely loved the outfits, it really rang true with my experience of Marisota, so me and the other girls have each given our “tuppence” worth and contributed to the page.

Obviously my favourite items were those I wore myself, I find it a real struggle to get skirts and trousers in my leg length so Marisota is a God send!

From the smart jeans with their lovely deep indigo colour, bootcut style and perfect leg length.

to the lovely outfit of red pleat neck jersey top, wide leg trousers and weave belt which were all exactly my style!

And finally my absolute favourite the Print Jersey Tie Front Dress, it’s perfect for a meal out, night out or even work with the right accessories.

I think the Legroom High Suede Boots Jane wore in the advert would be perfect

Are you sick of hearing about the credit crunch? Things have gone up and I do have to watch my pennies, but I wish they didn’t go on about it all the time. Well I’m going to use my Marisota blog to tell you all about plus size fashion I love and it’s great value!

It’s the time of year when you need a good pair of plus size jeans, and of course they have to fit well. Not just around the waist, but the leg length too. Have you ever tried to take a pair of jeans up? I have and I can tell you it’s no fun at all. This autumn I got short length jeans from Marisota. They had my leg length so I could wear them straight away, and they were such a good price! So even with the credit crunch I get great value clothes at Marisota, so I can still afford to treat myself, even when I’m on a budget!

I really, really love shopping. For tops, that is. Trouble is I’m a big fan of trousers – I love bootcut jeans but talk about frustrating trying to find a pair in my size! Jo and I took ourselves into town last Saturday and after bagging a couple of tops (for Jo!!!) I tried on a great pair of jeans in a rather trendy shop. You can imagine my disappointment when I had about 6 inches of fabric dangling over the end of my shoes. Jo was laughing but having short legs isn’t funny. Bootcut trousers can’t be altered very easily as they loose their shape – besides, I hate forking out for a professional to shorten stuff after I’ve bought it. Luckily for me I had my latest copy of Marisota to hand and guess what – an almost identical pair of jeans was in there.

2/3 of all trouser styles are available in shorter leg lengths so ‘titches’ like me can look as stylish as leggier girls in perfectly proportioned trousers tailored to fit.

Jo has the opposite problem to me – she’s a lanky kid. Not that she’d admit it to her friends but I caught her eyeing up a gorgeous maxidress in my Marisota catalogue the other day. Maxidresses look gorgeous on her, I might even pinch it when she’s not looking.
