We’re more than half way through March now, and here at Marisota we feel like summer is just around the corner.  We’ve been having a good look through our swimwear and picked out our favourite swimwear.

Best Bikinis

We couldn’t choose just one of our bikinis, so we went for two. The first is this gorgeous silhouete bikini set. Now our second bikini is perfect for smaller sizes, but who have a bigger chest. This simple bra size bikini from Panache is available in sizes up to a 38K. The underwire offers extra support and the cute bikini bottoms look great on curves!

Best Tankini

We love this blouson tankini from Beach 2 Beach. It’s a gorgeous colour and is a perfect choice if you’d rather cover your stomach. Plus it comes in sizes up to 32 and has detachable straps - so you can choose how to wear it!

Best Swimsuit

Now for our favourite swimsuit, it has to be the Miraclesuit. We love this silver/grey leopard print Miraclesuit; perfect for feeling chic on the beach. The miratex lining will hold you in, and the ruching to the stomach means you could look up to 10lbs lighter! There are even a variety of designs to choose from in our Miraclesuit range.

Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch and Andrea Mclean recently gave the Marisota Miraclesuit a test run. In an interview with Woman Magazine (15th June 2009) they discussed their body hangups over the years and their top tips for looking good in your 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.

Andrea Mclean, in her 30’s said that she is generally toned but worries about her tummy due to a hernia.  She’s also working on her bingo wings using free weights. She said that she does feel under pressure in the television industry to be thin, but not when she’s with the other Loose Women.

Coleen’s  issue (in her 40’s)is with her stomach, but at the same time she’s a lot happier with her body now than she has been before. She said that there’s always things you can work on. Her top tip is a good bra and not worrying about your age. She’s worked on her body for 2 years and her stint on Strictly come Dancing helped her tone up.

Denise said that in her 50’s she’s quite happy with her body, and is no longer obsessed with trying to be a size 10.  Her top tip was wearing heels because they give you good posture and dressing for your age. She said that when she was younger she tried all sorts of fad diets, and extreme eating regimes, but that over time they’ve aged her.

We’ve been getting some great weather recently, and many of you will be going on holiday soon (as will I when the holidays finally arrive) so I thought I would let you know about the range of swimwear here at Marisota.

As you may know I have had issues in the past with finding bras that fit properly and look good, if so, you may also know that Marisota has been fantastic in that department. But now they are also my saviours in terms of swimwear!

Their underwired swimsuits are perfect for those of us who need that little extra support. I love this underwired swimsuit, which is priced between £32 and £36. A definite bargain for a gorgeous swimsuit in a timeless style.

But…. it wouldn’t be fair if I only gave recommendations to people with the same problems as me. We Marisota girls need to stick together.

Or if you have a more boyish figure and need to create some curves then look into a strapless suit (I envy you, I could never pull it off!) This Beach2Beach bandeau swimsuit is perfect for accentuating your shoulders and creating a more hourglass shaped figure.
