Summer is almost here, and we’re going to be spending time outdoors in our lovely summery outfits. But for some reason we all panic about what to wear when the weather hots up a bit! Here are some of our favourite summer styles that you can wear with total confidence!

Shorts

These stylish linen shorts are seriously flattering and work perfectly with sandals. Just add a summery top for perfect style! If you would rather show a little less leg then choose these stylish 3/4 length harem pants. They’re still cool and comfortable but offer a little extra coverage!

A dress has to be the most comfortable outfit choice for summer. We love this gorgeous jersey maxi dress and these cute strapless dresses. Both comfortable, casual and stylish for summer!

It can be tempting to just refresh you formal wardrobe, especially when your purse is feeling the pinch, but here are a few items that can be worn every which way - perfect for a credit crunch wardrobe update!

The Marisota site has tons of spring fashion in the new in section, so you’ll never be caught short. Spring is a funny to season to shop for, it’s not as cold and wet as winter, but you can’t yet rely on the weather.  As a result choosing spring footwear isn’t easy, so here are our recommendations.

Rainy days

If it looks set to be a rainy, miserable day then a really nice pair of boots can both lift your spirits and keep you dry.  These pretty, studded cowboy boots are just the thing for wearing with skinny jeans, leggings or tights. The words “fashion” and style are often bandied about with very little thought to what they actually mean, but here at Marisota that we know style comes from within as well as what you’re wearing.  We all know someone who has a very iconic look, a style that is very “them” and more often than not you’ll class them as totally on trend!

Simply sporting the latest fashions is not enough to make you stylish, it’s about dressing in clothes that make you feel good, suit your personality and your body. so here are our top tips for creating your own signature style.

Personality

A stylish outfit needs to suit who you are inside, on a good day! If you’re bubbly and love to be the centre of attention then go for brights whilst floral prints highlight you feminine side. If you find you tend to err on the side of caution and wear a lot of dark or neutral colours then add a statement piece to liven it up!

Dress to your strengths

Pick a few things that you love about yourself and play them up; if you have an hourglass figure then nip your outfits in at the waist, if you’ve an enviable décolletage then draw attention to it with delicate necklines. If you know there are certain colours that look good on you then try and wear them whenever you can, a bright handbag or statement necklace is the perfect way to incorporate some colour!

Be Selective

Fashion is an art form, not a rule book. We should all feel free to pick and choose our styles. Only wear the fashions and trends that you feel comfortable in and that you feel suit you. There’s nothing LESS fashionable than someone wearing the latest clothes but feeling horrible!

Jeans are always a trusty wardrobe staple in the cooler months. That’s why I’ve put together a guide to my favourite styles from the Marisota autumn/ winter collection.
